While foreign news outlets have run stories on the DADT repeal similar to those of American outlets, these stories are frequently framed a little differently.  One difference is that foreign articles seem more likely to discuss the opposition to the appeal, even when the framing of the article is largely pro-repeal.  For example, this article from Al Jazeera quotes Senator John McCain.  Of military personnel, he said, "They will do what is asked of them...but don't think there won't be a great cost."

The following article from BBC is more similar to American news in that it says very little about opposition.  In fact, while one subtitle in the article is called, 'Positive effects,' no contrastive 'Negative effects' section is to be found.
